A writer/storyteller friend of mine, Sharon Kirk Clifton, had moved away for a while and recently moved back to town. She unpacked a good part of her goods and invited me and another young writer/friend, Natalie, to her place for lunch.
We had excellent food, good discussion, laughter, encouragement, and a generally excellent time. Lunch stretched from about noon to 4:30 and we could have kept going except Natalie and I both had other commitments.
We've decided to get together regularly and continue the party. Sharon, if you need a name, how about "The Society of Friends"? (lol and yet semi-serious)
Thanks for visiting with me.
