Even my hay bale garden is sprouting. I'm growing more hay so far, the bales need more conditioning before I plant my vegetables.

Early spring and Abby's allergies

I love early spring when everything is in bloom and the air is clean and cool.  This year, just as everything started blooming, Abby's eyes swelled almost shut and looked weepy.  We're going to have to put her on allergy medicine every spring during lilac season.  I don't know if it's the lilacs that are affecting her, but whatever it is blooms at the same time.  Alas!
